This is a spectacular looking tree that is highly regarded by landscape designers as an ornamental. It is a moderately fast growing tree with blue to blue green needles, and a thick, full and bushy profile. It is more drought tolerant than other firs, and thrives is this area, although it is a native of the Rocky Mountains.
